Miners

Privacy policy

Last updated: 21 October 2026

1. Who is responsible

MinerPrices (minerprices.com) is operated by CircleHash LLC, a limited liability company organised under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States (Wyoming filing ID 2024-001431792), registered office 1023 E Lincolnway, Cheyenne, WY 82001, principal office 701 Tillery Street, Unit 12 #2503, Austin, TX 78702 ("we"). We are the controller of the limited personal data described below. Privacy questions and requests: info@minerprices.com.

2. The short version

  • There are no accounts, sign-ups, forms or newsletters on MinerPrices. We do not ask you for any personal information.
  • We use no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking pixels, and our pages load nothing from other companies' servers.
  • Your settings (currency, electricity price, theme, the miners you picked to compare, calculator inputs) stay in your own browser.
  • Like every website, our hosting provider handles technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and keep the site secure.

3. What is processed, and why

  • Technical data when you load a page: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and the time. Cloudflare, Inc., our hosting provider, processes this to deliver the site, cache it, protect it against attacks and abuse, and record short-lived error and performance logs. We use these logs only to run, secure and fix the site. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in providing a working, secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
  • Settings in your browser: your currency, electricity price, theme, the miners you add to a comparison, the values you enter in the calculators and the GPU rig you build are saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them on your next visit. They are not sent to us, and you can delete them at any time by clearing your browser's site data. Saving them is needed for the feature you use (ePrivacy rules allow storage that is strictly necessary for a service you request).
  • Links to Sellers: when you click an offer or a company's website, our server forwards you to that page. We do not record the click. The address you arrive at carries a referral tag (utm_source=minerprices.com); from that moment the Seller's own privacy policy applies.
  • Emails you send us: if you write to info@minerprices.com, we use your message and address to answer you (legitimate interest), and keep it for as long as needed to handle your request, at most 24 months.

We do not sell personal data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it for automated decisions or profiling.

4. Cookies

MinerPrices sets no cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie (for example __cf_bm) when it needs to tell people from bots during an attack; it is used only for that purpose and expires quickly. Because we use no other cookies or trackers, there is no cookie banner.

5. Who receives data

  • Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, content delivery, security), acting as our processor under its data processing terms.
  • Google LLC (Google Workspace), which hosts our email mailboxes, if you email us.
  • Authorities or courts, when the law requires it or to protect rights and safety.
  • A buyer of our business, if MinerPrices is sold or merged, under the same protections.

6. International transfers

We are based in the United States, and Cloudflare serves pages from data centres around the world, usually the one closest to you. Where EU, EEA, UK or Swiss data protection law applies, transfers to the United States rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions) where the recipient is certified, or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long data is kept

  • Hosting and security logs: kept by Cloudflare for a short period, generally no longer than 30 days.
  • Settings in your browser: until you change or delete them; we never receive them.
  • Emails: up to 24 months after the conversation ends.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or California's CCPA/CPRA), you can ask for access to your personal data, a copy in a portable format, correction, deletion or restriction, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Because we hold almost nothing that identifies you, we may need details (for example the time of a visit, or the email address you wrote from) to find what relates to you. Write to info@minerprices.com; we answer within one month (45 days for California requests). We will not treat you differently for using these rights. If you are in the EU, EEA or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Security

The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS with HSTS) and keeps no personal data in its own database. No system is perfectly secure; please report security issues to info@minerprices.com.

10. Children

MinerPrices is meant for adults interested in cryptocurrency mining. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data about them.

11. Changes

If what the site does with data changes (for example if we add privacy-friendly analytics or a contact form), we will update this policy first and change the date at the top.
